Palipo na wazee…

marabou 1Those in the know will easily complete the above saying in swahili. Loose translation into English just means, ‘All is well where the old gather’. I could not help muse over this when taking photos of these marabou storks in my happy valley. They were calm and collected. They measured their steps majestically all the while keeping a keen eye on me lest I make any sudden moves. It was sad though to find one of them dead. The emotional me would attribute the large numbers of the storks mourning the loss of a kindred. However, that may not be exactly true. Well, enough chit-chat. Here are the wazees in all their wisdom.
